Join us for an all-day celebration of coffee, collaboration, and community at Tailwind Roasting! From hands-on workshops to coffee cocktail hour.

Morning Workshops (10 AM - 12 PM)

Start your day diving into the world of coffee with one of three engaging workshops designed for coffee enthusiasts and professionals alike:

  • Introduction to Roasting: Taught by Tailwind’s Trevor Jermasek, Learn the fundamentals of coffee roasting in this hands-on class. Explore roasting techniques, flavor profiling, and the journey from green beans to a perfect roast.

  • Introduction to Cupping: Lead by Sarah Cline Parker, learn to discern flavors and aromas in the cup. This workshop will guide you through the cupping process, helping you identify flavor notes, aroma, and body in every coffee.

  • Roasting Robusta & Liberica: Lead by Mikey Rinaldo of New Math Coffee, learn about roasting techniques for different species of coffees. This advanced session focuses on profiling techniques and approaches when roasting specialty robustas and libericas.

Afternoon Cupping (1:30 PM - 3 PM)

Experience a cupping session featuring fresh Ethiopian coffee samples provided by Crop to Cup. This is a unique opportunity to taste exceptional coffees and explore the vibrant flavor profiles that make Ethiopian coffees so renowned.

Coffee Cocktail Hours(s) - (3 PM - 6 PM)

Cap off the day with our favorite coffee cocktails (also available in decaf) and small bites.
