Production Roasting: April 18th, 10a — 1p

$200.00

Instructors: Trevor Jermasek

Ready to level up your roasting skills? Our second class in the series, Production Roasting, builds on the fundamentals covered in the intro class. This 3-hour session at Tailwind Roasting takes you deeper into the craft of coffee roasting, focusing on more advanced techniques and concepts, including:

  • Fine-tuning roast curves for flavor development

  • Roasting approaches for bean density and process

  • The importance of airflow and drum speed for consistent roasts

  • Troubleshooting common roast issues in real-time

Participants will have extended hands-on roasting time with the Buckeye 3.5 and will dive into detailed post-roast analysis. You’ll leave with custom roasts you crafted during class and a stronger foundation for experimenting with roast profiles on your own.

Prerequisite: Roasting Coffee 101 (or other prior roasting experience)

Limited to 3 participants.

Friday, April 18th at 10am - 1pm
