Roaster School 101 - September 15th

Join us at Crop to Cup Chicago for a 3-hour, hands-on roasting workshop. We cover the basics (and then some) of turning coffee beans brown, including:
Roasting machine anatomy
How to use machine controls to manage your roast
Data logging, both manual and digital
How to alter roasts based process and moisture
Roast phases, roast level, and development time
Cup & Evaluate the roasts
Participants will get hands-on roasting time on an Arc 800 and will get to take home a bag of beans that they roasted themselves.
